Individual therapy allows a safe and supportive environment to explore life challenges, address mental health symptoms and work to initiate personal growth. Individual therapy can address issues such as anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, changes in relationships and stress management.
At Kolbe Family Therapy, I focus on supporting individuals on their personal growth journey as they work to overcome barriers and become the best version of themselves. I specialize in working with women on issues related to anxiety and depression, managing roles and relationships, self-esteem and body-image issues.
While you may be the only person in the room with the therapist, I take a systemic approach to working with individuals and will consider the impact of the client's job expectations, intimate relationships, family interactions and childhood experiences. This allows the client to better understand the interaction and impact of various areas of life and functioning.
