It is the mission of Kolbe Family Therapy Services to provide engaging and dynamic supervision services for Marriage and Family Therapy associate level clinicians with the purpose of providing support, building clinical competency, ethical decision-making and supporting professional growth for future work endeavors.
Ashley is has completed the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy's requirements as a nationally recognized supervisor for associate licensed marriage and family therapists. As a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, I also can support clinicians interested in pursuing the RPT designation.
I provide a strength-based, postmodern, transparency-driven supervision approach. Emphasis will be placed on exploring systemic interventions, themes, and overarching theoretical orientation with a focus on improving intentional and planful approach to delivery of services.
During RPT supervision, emphasis will be placed on exploring play therapy theories, approaches and interventions in working with children, adolescents, parents and families. Theories explored include child-centered play therapy, Adlerian play therapy, sand tray therapy, Filial therapy and utilizing other play-based interventions.
